bullet point image Unwanted currency
Do you have any foreign currency you don't need? When you get back from holiday, you often have some foreign currency left over that you're not going to change back into pounds. How about donating it to Hanna's Orphanage? We can take notes or coins, of any foreign currency, and every little bit helps! If you would like to donate your foreign money, please email Anne-marie at
anne-marie@hannasorphanage.org.uk and find your nearest collection point!

We are all volunteers, so none of your money will go towards salaries.
100% of the money will go towards the benefit of the children of Ethiopia.
As such, we will always be able to tell you where your money has gone.
If you have any questions, please get in touch.

Donate your time and expertise

Do you have any spare time and skills to donate to us? We would love to talk to you!
We are currently looking for people to get involved in our fundraising events. Could you do a sponsored walk? Would you like to attend one of our gigs? In other words, if you have a great idea for how to raise money for Hanna's Orphanage we would love to hear from you!
Please email fundraising@hannasorphanage.org.uk.

We are also very keen to talk to people who could help us send resources to Addis Ababa. If you think you could help, please email us jenny@hannasorphanage.org.uk.

Donate your things

We try to respond to what the orphanage wants, which often means it is not appropriate to send clothes and toys to Ethiopia.
It is better for the Ethiopian economy if we spend the money in the country rather than spend it on shipping. However, there are often things that we cannot buy in Ethiopia, and we will ensure we advertise a list of what we need.
